Welcome to NRLA Midland 05 - Australia's only international forum dedicated to the exploration of live art practice.

For the duration of NRLA Midland 05, Block 2 of the Midland Railway Workshops will be transformed into a series of purpose built spaces that will allow you to experience

“some of the most exciting, innovative and sometimes downright weird bits of art installation, performance art and otherwise unspecified creative happenings currently reverberating around the globe.” Metro

We are delighted to announce that this year's NRLA Midland will commence with a short season of Box Story - Bobby Baker's all new and totally unique take on life and groceries; 8, 9, 13 & 14 April.

NRLA Midland's core program will continue 14-17 April with a diverse programme of performances, talks, installations and workshops by artists from Australia, the UK, Belgrade, Montreal, Bombay, Bangkok and Singapore.



NRLA Midland 05 is the result of a collaboration between the City of Swan and New Moves International (UK), producers of New Territories incorporating the National Review of Live Art Glasgow.
